YZIP® Natulon®
YKK’s versatile YZiP® has patented Y-shaped elements which are meticulously engineered and cut to ensure exact chain interlocking. These elements are designed to fit with YKK’s dye cast (Pin Lock and Auto Lock) sliders to ensure the zipper performs perfectly. The YZiP® elements and YKK sliders are non-ferrous and are resistant to enzyme and stone washes. YZIP® is now available in our sustainable recycled NATULON® Polyester Tape. These zippers are made from recycled materials such as PET bottles using materials recycling technologies. YZIP® NATULON® is available in a wide variety of finishes including the internationally preferred Brass, Antique Brass, and Antique Silver.

TECHNICAL INFO
NATULON® is an eco-friendly zipper that is recycled from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottles and other post-consumer materials using the latest materials recycling technologies. Since the NATULON® zipper fabric is made from recycled PET yarn, the colour of the zipper tape may differ from the regular colour due to the nature of the recycled material.
YKK identified 12 colours with high brightness (Over L90) which may become yellowish and would vary from the standard YKK Global Shade Card. We manage some extremely light colours with over L90 Standards in different codes. YKK standard 12 NATULON® colour codes for extremely light colours: 054NA, 184NA, 345NA, 503NA, 841NA, 355NA, 356NA, 030NA, 501NA, 502NA, 803NA, 872NA).
NOTE
As well as polyester tape, polyester mixed weaving cotton tape is also available. YZiP® is recommended for jeans. However, YKK does not guarantee the zipper quality after any process (stone/sand wash etc). Colours may fade with repeated laundering. Colour bleeding might occur in the washing process when processed by the customer. A washing test by the customer is recommended before bulk order.
