Purpose of Job: The Service Representative is responsible for the development and maintenance of the commercial relationship between YKK the Buyer and or Vendor. The Service Representative ensures the delivery of the organization’s value and service proposition within identified Divisions, Segments and Channels. Ensures the appropriate commercial yields (Shipment Volume, Value Share and Profitability – Gross Profit) are achieved in line with the company objectives.
Qualifications Required:
- Grade Twelve (12).
- Graduate of Recognized Tertiary Qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Computer literacy in multiple systems.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ market, sales and management experience.
- Unendorsed valid driver’s license. (Light Motor Vehicle)
- Travel within region.

Key Result Areas:
- Achieve the Volume (PCS); Value (AMT) and Gross Profit for the designated segment aligned to the company plan.
- Deliver exceptional service and relevant communication to designated vendors.
- Manage the segments customer base (Buyer and Vendor) to ensure operational efficiency and maximum trade reach (customer calls).
- Ensure the commercial relationship is maintained and strengthen through engagement with the Buyer and Vendor.
- Manage price ranges of products for the identified Buyers and Vendors.
- Implement marketing and sales strategies and operational programs for the designated markets, divisions and segments.
- Implement activities which ensures growth of new Buyers and Vendors.
- Implement activities which ensures customer retention.
- Ensure operational excellence in execution of all relevant cycle activities.
- Manage optimal stock levels for identified and approved vendors.
- Maintain the integrity and management of the CRM program (Salesforce) within designated segments and accounts.
- Manage the financial activities, returns, collections, credits and reconciliations aligned to company objectives and policies.
- Optimize stakeholder engagement (Division, Planning, Production and Logistics) to ensure service delivery.
- Provide appropriate insights and intelligence (qualitative and quantitative) to improve organizational understanding of the market, segment or customer dynamics.
- Establish and maintain excellent cross functional engagement and working relationships.
Alignment of company activities and delivery to appropriate regulatory or statutory mandates.
